(I just hate to see my fresh do get all fuzzy) which is fantastic for you and sista locs that it looks better after being washed! your hair is beautiful.yummy411https://www.blogger.com/profile/12969641019473417770noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1922344399613629280.post-74131700322031162862008-04-09T09:46:00.001-07:002008-04-09T09:46:00.001-07:00Ooh, girl my scalp was itchy the day she finished ...Ooh, girl my scalp was itchy the day she finished my hair. She finished my hair on a Tuesday and I held out until the following Monday, with my head on fire. My consultant had already recommended Nizoral for the itchy and flaky scalp, so I know the relief you felt. Plus that first washing took too many hours for me to take up your comments to talk about. My consultant recommends the Aveda Scalp Remedy. I get itchy after retightenings too. The Scalp Remedy is a spray bottle with just a little nozzle so that you can spray it directly on the scalp and massage it in. It won't leave any residue on your locks and works great!Vixenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06158056762551848503noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1922344399613629280.post-74782480606411026762008-04-06T05:51:00.000-07:002008-04-06T05:51:00.000-07:00My consultant asked that I wait as long as I could...My consultant asked that I wait as long as I could(and I'm talking weeks) before I washed my locks. I don't know how I did it but I made it to 3 weeks and a couple days. My dry scalp gets so itchy it burns and I couldn't take it anymore. The wash also kinda relaxes your hair from the Sisterlock styling and helps fill in your scalp. You didn't have the scalpy issue though.

You could also try water with aloe vera gel.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1922344399613629280.post-15349193703822972952008-04-05T20:34:00.000-07:002008-04-05T20:34:00.000-07:00I don't know wha causes it. I really thought I wouldn't have the itchies because I don't think my scalp is sensitive and I'd never experienced itching like that when I wore micros or box braids. I still haven't figured out what it is about locks.

I'm glad that you're feeling some relief :)CardioBunnyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02281028721364759341noreply@blogger.com
